DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

All my life I have allowed others to define who I was and what my true worth was to the world. I had someone always telling me what to do where to do it and when. I was a mindless zombie letting others who did not care about getting to know me decide my fate in life. Now late in life I have found my true passion which is writing. And once again all those who feel they know what is best for me try to define my worth. In all likely hood I will never get published for I'm not famous or wealthy. I don't know an insider in the publishing world or have committed some spectacular feat of engineering. I'm not a politician or an actor who can exploit my fame and I am certainly not a survivor of a terrible disaster working the talk show circuit. I'm just a normal human being that inhabits the earth along with all the important people. Now I want you to understand something about me and more importantly about you. In the endless vastness of the universe in all the countless galaxies and solar systems there is something even rarer then diamonds. This rare gift lives in only one single place in all the universe making it the most precious thing that could ever be found. Only one exists and no other will exists after it is gone and lost to the aging of time. This rare and precious one of a kind unique item is YOU! Do not let others define your worth because you are priceless and your worth can not be measured! Follow your heart and grab tightly to your dreams and never never let someone decide your fate for you! I have a dream of becoming a successful writer someday and I will carry this dream to my grave if that be my fate. Never give up never give in and never compromise on what you believe in!!!!!!!

DEAD RISING

My life long dream of writing a story has finally come true. I have finished editing my story and will now send out submission requests to Literary Agents in the hopes someone will read my story. If I get picked up by an agent and later get published it will be one of the happiest moments in my entire life. My hopes are to earn enough money to allow myself to write two more stories to finish my trilogy of a Zombie apocalypse. The title of my first story is as you can see Dead Rising. I have already started writing the second story, but most of my energy will be to get the first story published. Had I not lost my job and then later recieved encouragement from my daughter to try this moment would have never occured. I am taking a very big gamble on my talents, but if we do not try then how can we succeed? I encourage anyone who bothers to listen to follow your're dreams no matter where they may lead you! I am proud of what I have accomplished so far even if my story never gets to a publisher. Believe in yourself and good fortune will follow!!!!!!

ALMOST THERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have finished my story and currently in the polishing phase of my book. By polishing I mean that I read my story, then see if there is any way I can make it better before contacting a literary agent. Finding the agent may prove more difficult than finishing my story. I am fine tuning my story for the third and final time, or at least I hope it's the final draft. I am very excited as well as terrified, to finally get a chance to publish my story! I know the odds are heavily against me, but I have to try. If I fail in my attempt to get published, then I will post my entire story on a separate blog for anyone to read. I hope someone will like it, since I have spent the better of six months working on it. Any how, if I put my story online I will provide a link off this blog. Please wish me luck, for this is very important to me that I get published someday soon!

By the way the picture is of the actress I hope will play the main Character in my story, if it ever goes to film! The heroine in my story, is a young and beautiful female reporter sent on her first big news story. After arriving to her destination, she finds herself at ground zero of an impending zombie apocolaypse!

Latest Udate On My Story

I am currently more than half way and on a pace to finish by late October or early November. My main Character in my story has already endured much and even I don't know how it will end just yet. My daughter has been a great inspiration for me not to mention all her help as she is the real writer in the family. She constantly checks on my progress and helps with positive suggestions that I appreciate greatly. With her help I am more confident than ever I will get my story published. I love writing and I hope with my finished work more than anything else that my daughter will be proud of her fathers accomplishment.

Update News

Well it's been seven weeks since I started my novel and I'm glad to say things are moving forward. I am currently one quarter of the way into my story and I am hopeful my progress will speed up once I settle in. I was doing very well by writing every single day until the fire. Our apartment complex was partially destroyed by a fire created by lighting. Thank God no one was injured and all families have been relocated. I was very fortunate by not losing any of my things in the fire. But the hassle of moving and then unpacking has slowed my writing considerably. I have not had a decent nights sleep since the fire but I am slowly getting accustomed to my new surroundings. My determination in finishing my story has not diminished and one way or another I will get published. Even if I have to pay to publish the book my self. I will not spend all these hours and days on a project only to watch it fail. My greatest hope is that people will read and enjoy my story. That being said I will consider my book a success if just one person likes my story. Lets face it we can't please everyone and that is not my goal. I do not want to go into the subject matter of my story just yet. The story evolves in my head each and every day and I am not sure where it will take me. I did however make a outline of my story before starting to write. So the basic concepts are outlined and defined I just need to fill in the blanks. Upon conclusion I will hire a professional writer to look over my story to help with corrections and the like. I want my story to be as perfect as possible before I send it out to publishers. A Short Break From The Madness

I am currently working on a novel so my posts will be very limited for awhile. This is my first attempt at writing on such a scale. I hope to finish within the year if all goes well. If published I will post a link where my book my be purchased. Wish me luck for I am sure I will need it. Updates on my progress will come in a few weeks and no it will have nothing to do with politics. I think there is enough of those already. Since I started a few days ago I find it very relaxing and greatly rewarding work. I write each day as the story unfolds in my mind. I would tell you more but I don't want to spoil the surprise. OK I will say this much it has to do with a female reporter and the story she is covering. If you have not read all my posts please take this time to do so. Also if you have time my blog on poetry is posted in my bio I would very much like to have you read them as well. It may provide some joy into your lives or at least that is my hope. For all of you that have read my poetry and political posts thank you for taking the time it is appreciated.

HOPE

No Tyrant Dictator or self imposed Emperor has ever been able to hold power for very long against a population that desired FREEDOM. Through the ages of mankind these oppressors have risen and fallen again and again. What awesome power finally brings them low and restores hope among the masses? The desire to be free the desire for LIBERTY. In America today as Washington seeks more and more power many of us are losing hope for our future. Americans see a future that for the first time in our nations history seems uncertain. Even in World War 2 Americans had more hope for their future facing the might of the AXIS POWERS then do most Americans today. Every day I see the look of desperation on the faces of my fellow countryman. I hear the fear in their voices I see the tears in their eyes. As long as we stand together and hold to the idea that all men and women are equal in the eyes of GOD there is still HOPE. Know this that absolute power corrupts absolutely but it cannot stand for very long. Against FREEDOM AND LIBERTY there is no power save GOD himself that will not fall. While our oppressors may use violence against us we will use the power of HOPE to gain our FREEDOM. I am reminded of the time Joan of Arc stood on the battle field facing the mighty English army. Joan using the hope and faith she had in GOD ordered the English army to leave and go in peace. "I wish no more blood,go home for the King Of Heaven commands it." And Joan using only the words from her mouth secured her country's FREEDOM. We must be like Joan Of Arc and trust in GOD that with HOPE we will attain FREEDOM,but not just for ourselves, but for our children and the countless that will follow.

LAND OF THE FREE?

The men who died and shed their blood on foreign soil what did they sacrifice for? Was it to further American imperialism or to steal Japan's resources? Or was it to ensure that not only Americans remained free but the entire world? You as an American should know the answer to these questions.

The attacks on 9/11 did America deserve these horrific events? Did we bring this on ourselves by offending the Muslim religion? Or did some radicals high jack a belief to further their own ends? Did hatred and ideology replace reason and tolerance of different view points?

Town hall Meetings filled with haters and radicals trying to disrupt the Government? People attending the meetings because corporate America ordered them to attend and hassle politicians to vote a certain way? Or are these normal Americans concerned with their children's future? Are they people demanding that politicians hear their voice and stop ignoring them?

The Minuteman Project is it filled with racist and anti immigration protesters? People who just hate Mexicans and other foreign people who believe in white supremacy? Or are they concerned citizens worried that open borders allow terrorist and criminals to enter our country? Are they concerned about our economy and what the open border means to Americans searching for jobs?
The Tea Party Movement is it filled with hate mongers and radicals trying to over throw the government? Are they people who just can't stand having a black man as president? Or are they concerned about out of control spending by Washington? Are they citizens who would rather be home then carrying a picket sign? Are they just ordinary people who want the government to listen to them? People who are afraid that this is no longer THE LAND OF THE FREE?

219 Bring On The Rain

We are not at the end of the Recession as some would have you believe. We are at the edge of a great cliff with the Abyss before us. Just as the Spartans pushed the Persians of a cliff to their deaths Democrats are pushing all Americans over a financial cliff to our DOOM. Weep for our country weep for us all for Hard times are coming. The poor middle class and yes the rich will all suffer in what is to come. Get on your knees America and pray for forgiveness and salvation for we have sinned. And now we will pay for our arrogance and ignorance for allowing government funded abortions. Dear Lord bring on the rain to wash away my tears.

Walmart Incident

Recently at a Walmart Store in New Jersey a Young boy grabs a intercom phone an announces to all in the store "all black people leave the store". Now these types of hurtful remarks should not be tolerated. The young boy should be forced to apologise to all the customers in the store at the time. A walmart manager was able to quickly announce an apology to store customers shortly after the incident. That should have been the end of this story but sadly it is not. The young boy who is 16 years old was arrested and now Walmarts is under attack from the NAACP. Do I want every young black man who calls me a cracker or honkie arrested? The answer is NO. Once again the so called black leaders in this country are taking one step forward and two steps back. Please explain how Walmarts is not the victim in this story just as well as the customers who had to hear the insensitive remark? How is attacking Walmarts going to improve race relations in our country? NAACP need to understand that if you continue to cry wolf every time a minor incident happens people will stop paying attention to you. I feel the NAACP members need to ask themselves an important question. Are you yourself a Racist?

Tolerance

I will share The United States Of America with people from all walks of life. I will call you friend if you are Muslim,Christian,Hindu,Jewish,Bud dist,Shinto,Confucius,Taoist,Sikh or any other religion that believes in a higher being. I will call you brother and sister if you are black white red or brown. America is a beacon of light for all who seek freedom of religion and liberty to govern our own lives. Every cruel regime every dictator and tyrant in the world fears what our liberty and freedom represent. A threat to their absolute rule of control and oppression. As long as the flame of liberty still burns there is hope for all men and women across the globe. Those who believe in complete government control wish to extinguish the flame of liberty. Because of this I will not share The United States Of America with Communists. I will not work with them nor will I live with them. I will devote my life to halting their agenda and removing them from our borders. Communists do not tolerate other points of view they do not live and let live. Please except this simple analogy I offer as a solution to Communism. You are a sheep herder and you process the sheep's wool to support your family. Then one day a pack of wolves enter your farm and start killing your herd of sheep. Do you try to bribe or negotiate with the wolves to leave? Do you beg and plead for the wolves to leave you in peace? Or do you grab your rifle from above the fireplace and make them leave? The choice is yours!

The Late Great United States Of America

I am calling on all people of faith to unite in a common cause our right to worship God in America. We do not agree on all of God's teachings or the meanings of his word but we do agree that God influences our lives. God is the corner stone that holds our society together and makes us moral and decent. In America today there are hundreds if not thousands of religions. We need to put aside our differences and unite in a common cause to preserve our right to worship. A dark and evil tyranny is raising it's head in Washington. Those sent to represent us have now become our masters and will impose their will on all of us. These are not men and women of faith but power hungry politicians Hell bent on taking complete control of our lives. Read past their lies and see the dark abyss that waits for us all. A country without God is no country at all. Unite my brothers and sisters Unite in a cause greater than ourselves. Let these heathens in Washington know we answer only to God and not to politicians greedy for more power!

It Happened To Alexa Foundation

In the United States Of America between the years 1960-2008 there was 3,487,535 rapes reported. Let me remind you that these numbers are of reported rapes many more go unreported for various reasons. These numbers also do not include 2009 and 2010 figures. 3,487,535 Rapes in our country happening to our mothers daughters sisters and loved ones. This has to stop and stop soon. Unite Against A Common Enemy

I am calling for good Christians and Muslims to unite against a common enemy. The enemy I speak of is Communism or like they call them selves today Socialists. Christians and Muslims may have our differences but we all believe in one true God. WE all believe in a power greater then ourselves for which we pray and give thanks. We have lived side by side for centuries and share some common beliefs. Instead of hating each other we should work together to preserve our religions. Tell me who is the greater threat? Those who have a different religious view points or those that believe there is no God? Those who might argue the specifics of God's teachings our those who would seek to abolish God all together? Socialism and Communism are spreading across the globe at the point of a gun like a disease. If you think that once given complete control of the United States that Socialist and Communists parties won't ban all religion think again. Religion is all ready banned from our schools and public places. So will we as good Christians and Muslims start praying in secret? Will we be afraid or ashamed to praise God in public for fear of what might happen to us? Communism and Socialism are a cancer on this world and if both our religions are to survive we need to stop fighting amongst ourselves and UNITE against a common foe.

The Ruse

So when will we the American public stop sending a Politician to Washington to fix the wrongs of other Politicians? When will we elect someone with our values and life style instead of some rich eliteist. Let me put it to you this way. There are no poor or middle class people in Congress. No poor Senators No poor Congressman they all have money. But some how you believe their lies that they understand you and sympathise with your plight. Really? Here is your typical politician sales pitch. I want to go to Washington and do the peoples will. I want to clean up the corruption and get back to doing the peoples business. I only answer to YOU! Funny if a politician is talking to a Conservative crowd they are conservative. If they are talking to a liberal crowd they are suddenly very liberal. If they are in front of Christians God plays a big roll in their lives. If they are in front of non believers then they are cracking jokes about how Christians are frightened and clinging to their religion and guns. A politician will always tell you what you want to hear just to get your vote. And when they get to Washington and vote the opposite of what the people who elected them want. Well they are just voting their conscious and what is best for you. Remember their intellect is vastly superior to yours and their cerebral cortex is much larger so just trust them. So how do we know if they really get us and we can trust them? Look at their past and how they live their life style. Is it similar to your life? Look who their friends are and their past associates. Are these people you would hang out with? Ask them if they would be willing to take a polygraph test and answer any questions you might have. If we can't trust them why should we give them our vote? Not everybody wants the same thing and we will never agree on all the issues facing our country. But would it not be nice to know the man or woman you vote for shares your beliefs? Use your right to vote America but be very sure you are giving your vote to the right person.

Robots and Cyborgs

We are now living in a unique time in our nations history. A time where individual freedom is replaced with a collective mind set. Where the rights of the individual is replaced with the mandate of the collective. No longer will our children be taught to think for themselves or how to find answers on their own. Now our children will be feed the answers like you would store data on a hard drive. No need for individual thought for our children will be instructed what to think say and do. Take a good look at an ant hill next time you come across one. Observe how tirelessly the worker ants gather food for the colony. Never wavering from their task to bring food to their little ant hill. Our children are the worker ants being taught to never think for themselves but to focus on the greater good. So you will look alike talk alike and even think alike what a great nation of robots and Cyborgs you have become. Our children are afraid to be different afraid they won't fit in to the collective mindset lay ed before them like a road map to Hell. Obama and other socialists will have you believe that your purpose in life is to serve. Serve what exactly them and their idea of a social utopia? Sounds like the ant hill to me not any future I want for my child. Children are graduating our high schools that can't read or write or think on their own. Some can't even spell their own names but they can tell you the evils of their parents and how God is a quaint little bed time story. You can call me all the names you want you can attack my religion and my values. But when progressives start attacking my child then brother I will fight you with every fiber of my being. I am an individual I will think for my self and I will find my own answers to my own questions. Many of good men and women have died to give me the right to rule my own destiny. Many are still dying today to preserve that right of freedom for every American. So please put down the sign calling for social justice and start searching for the real you. Who knows you might like what you find and if you don't you can always pick up the sign and become a good little robot once more. God created you to be unique in all the universe there is no one else exactly like you. Yes I said God created you but don't take my word for it. God left us scientific proof of his existence you have only but to look. Remember I am not trying to force you to believe anything I am only asking that you believe in yourself. God put you here for a reason but some how I don't think it was to carry a sign and be a good little robot or cyborg. I want you to look how those who run the progressive movement live. Do you think that you are going to move into the White House with Barrack and Michelle? Do you think you are going to travel in style like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid? Do you get invited to the White House parties like the SEIU president and Wall Street lobbyists? Do you live in a fancy gated community with armed body guards to protect you and keep you safe? It sounds like a social utopia for them but you my friend are the worker ant gathering the food for them. You are on the outside looking in and they will never let you in never. Please remember find your own answers to your own questions and always believe in YOU!

Generation Zero The Movie

Get all the facts and then make up your own mind on what to do next. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best and may God have mercy on us all. NASA Space Program

So in order for the Democrats to come up with money for Health Care they looked for areas where they could cut spending. Tell me was there no better place to cut waste then shutting down NASA and eliminating more than 5,000 jobs? Out of all the massive programs the government is involved in none where more expendable than NASA? No more trip to Mars or the Moon in our life time thanks to the end of our space program. Now if we want to send an American to the ISS International Space Station we have to ask the Russians and then pay them 50 million a head or so I have heard. So we spend billions to build the ISS and now leave it to the Russians to maintain and operate? Who in Washington made this decision to end NASA? I really want to know so I can get a clear explanation how shutting down NASA aids our future. As other countries like Russia and China expand their space programs we will end ours. Is it just me that feels we suddenly became more vulnerable to our enemies now that we have abandoned space? I have always hoped that some day the United States would usher in a new era for mankind by journeying to the stars. Now with the decision to close NASA we won't even leave our own atmosphere. This is truly a sad and somber moment in our great history as a nation.


NASA was to be working on the next generation of space flight with the Orion Project but now that program has been scrapped. The hope with Orion was to put a permanent station on the moon and later place men and women on the surface of Mars. Later this year the last Space Shuttle will launch ending NASA for good. We are now to hope some American company will pick up where NASA left off. I for one do not see that happening given the enormous start up cost and unknown expenses in the future. NASA is dead and Americans will never look to the stars and say when but now must look and say if ever. Someone in Washington has killed the great American spirit by this horrible move closing down NASA. Let us hope future generations to come have enough common sense to see beyond the horizon and once again reach for the stars.

Chairity Begins At Home

Helping those less fortunate then ourselves has always been a Nobel pursuit. Giving aid and comfort to foreign countries such as food water and shelter should always be a priority when asked for assistance. We are a great an generous nation and the world is a better place for it. When disaster hits some where in the world Americans always answer the call. The recent troubles in Haiti are a perfect example of America's generosity and willingness to help. Now that being said I would like an answer to some questions I have. Are there no Americans who are homeless? Are there no people in desperate need of a hand up? Are there no children who have no parent to hold them and comfort them? With so many in our own country in need of help why can we not focus on them first? When I saw the looks on those helpless Haiti children who had no parents my heart ached. I have compassion for them as any decent person would. But when I see my fellow Americans suffering I wonder why we can.t help them as well. I am not suggesting we not Help Haiti what we are doing for them is the right path to take. But when I see good warm hearted Americans rushing to adopt Haiti children I ask why not adopt an American child first? By all means make sure the Haiti children have food water shelter and proper medical care. But adopting them when so many American orphans need your help in my mind is just wrong. Are you going to look those American orphans in the face and tell them I am sorry you just don't matter? Why can't we apply the humanity we show the world to those who are our neighbors? While there is one single child in America that needs a good home please consider this. Charity begins at home and we need to take care of our own first. I tried to research how many orphans reside in the United States but could not find any hard figures. The nearest estimate puts the number of homeless children in the United States at over 2.9 million. That America is a lot of children desperate for a home and a parent. A parent who would hold them and let them know that not only do you matter but you are loved as well. My prayers go out to all the homeless children of the world. But my heart goes out to those children in my own country that need to know that they are not forgotten.

FOOD POLICE

So you live in the United States Of America and are free to live as you see fit or are you? Organizations working with politicians are about to take a big bite out of your freedoms. Sourcing information I received from The Center For Consumer Freedom web site I am about to startle you awake. Working for an organization called PHAI or Public Health Advocacy Institute trial lawyers are promising to sue food companies and restaurants if they do not provide healthier foods. So we are now to eat only carrot and celery sticks? Not to be out done Law professor John Banzof from George Washington University wants to sue any parent who has a obese child. But wait John also wants to sue doctors whose patients are obese as well. Nice John remind me not to invite you to the next company picnic. Yale University's Kelly Brownell supports banning fast food chains altogether. So thanks to Kelly no more McDonald's,BugerKing,Taco Bell,Wendy's and KFC. Kelly I thought you people from Yale were smart but I guess I was wrong. Following Kelly's suggestion Scituate Massachusetts tried to pass an ordnance not allowing fast food chains in or near their city. Who would have thought that the proposal would fail? Get a clue you chowder heads that Americans love our foods and you can have my hamburger when you pry it from my cold dead hands. Sadly the food police do not end here. States like Texas,New York,California and the city of Philadelphia have successfully banned soda from there public schools including diet soda. Diet zero calories soda but will allow fruit drinks loaded with high calories. I am sorry I don't get it. Texas Agriculture Commissioner Susan Combs prohibited 100's of foods from schools in her state and now is working on stopping students from sharing lunches. Combs must have a lot of time on her hands to come up with that idea. Maybe next she could focus on banning bake sales for churches and charity's or I know abolish the Girl Scouts. I mean after all they sell those delicious and decadent cookies we all know and love. Here is my favorite proposal from the Center For Science In The Public Interest or CSPI. Ban treats like candy bars,Gum and Tic Tacs in store aisles. Just like Porn Magazines these foods should remain behind the counter an hidden from young children. Because lets face it a Snickers Bar is just food porn to a child. Thanks CSPI for showing your nothing but Food Nazis. A Liberal Party in Ontario Canada has proposed a 8% tax on all meals under $4. Why should this concern Americans? Several States in America are looking to pass a similar legislation. Basically this turns out to be a tax on the poor. Hope and Change people Hope and Change are coming! The National Academy Of Sciences is proposing that the President appoint a National Food
Czar. Yes America all our problems can now be solved by Czars. I think Mrs Obama already holds the Food Czar title but I could be wrong. The Public Health Institute wants a limited age mandate like we have for alcohol and tobacco sales. In order to order a soda,hamburger,pie,candy,chocolate and any other foods that make their list you will have to show id. So next time you buy a Big Mac remember to pull out your drivers license first. Not convinced that the Food Police are real yet then how about this little nugget. Our friends at CSPI feel that personal responsibility is CRAP! In CSPI's opinion the Government should control EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Pants Bomber Sings

A leak from White House sources has revealed that the Nigerian bomber has resumed his cooperation with the CIA and FBI officials. Urged on by his family which were flown in from Yemen the Nigerian Dirt Bag started to sing about upcoming attacks here in the United States. All we have been told at this point is Al Qaida attacks are eminent. So once again the White House has failed in their ability to prove they can keep us safe. Tell me please how do we stop the Al Qaida attacks by telling them through the media that we have information on their intentions? Would it not have been better to keep this information a secret until we had stopped and foiled the planned attacks? Are we not giving Al Qaida a chance to move their attacks up or change them entirely? This is what happens when during a time of war you chose a politician to lead our country. A President who is constantly trying to play catch up and learn on the job he was never qualified to hold in the first place.My favorite part about the leaks is how we may strike a deal with the Dirt Bag for his now cooperation. So lets see torturing terrorists is wrong but rewarding them for trying to kill innocent Americans is OK? I have had my fill of the incompetence of the Obama Administration and I can not tolerate three more years can you? Impeach Now why we still have a country to call home!

The 300

As in the time of the Spartans our very freedoms are in great peril. The 300 Spartans led by Leonidas saw the invading Persian army for what it truly was the end of all that they held dear. Not only were their lives in jeopardy but there homes their lands their culture and yes their women and children. Knowing that they faced certain death the Spartans stood in a narrow pass at Thermopylae ready to sacrifice all for those that they loved. For freedom was as important to them as the very air they breathed. For what is life without the freedom to choose your own destiny your own happiness. In three days the Spartans killed so many Persians that much of the vast Persian army deserted after the battle was won. Some might say the Persians came to fear the mighty fighting skills of the Spartan warriors knowing many more lie ahead in future battles. But I submit to you that a different force was at work other than fear for the mass desertions in the Persian army. By the Persians own account they had an army of two million men but by the time they reached Athens only one million remained. This is why the numbers of the Persian army are still debated to this day. Now what do I think happened at Thermopylae an awakening. As the Spartans fought and died for three days the Persian army made up of mostly slaves who had lost their freedom came to admire the Spartans. More I believe the slave army came to embrace that which the Spartans fought so bravely for FREEDOM. Watching the Spartans and Leonidas fight for three days until the last Spartan fell by Persian arrows inspired in some of the Persian army to defy their masters an opt for freedom even if it meant certain death. Today my fellow Americans we face not a vast Persian army but something just as terrible. Socialists working against the will of the people will bring about an end to our freedoms. And not just for you but your children and their children and so on. Socialists pretending to be liberals will bring about the fundamental change of our great Republic. As I write this the Socialists are sending to your children's schools across this nation a sign up sheet to enroll in our President's civilian army he promised to raise. Just as large as our military and just as well armed and funded as our military. What do your children have to do to join you ask? Read books promoting socialism and condemning free market principles. So America once again we need brave men to stand in the narrow pass and fight for freedom. You may lose your life like the brave Spartans and Leonidas but tell me are you willing to live with the consequences if you do nothing.

The State Of Our Demise

After listening to the President give his State Of The Union speech I am now convinced that we are all screwed. Not only are they not going to fix the economy but the War on Terror is one big joke to the Washington elite. No problem for Congress they have a nice well stocked and very secure bunker to crawl into when shit hits the fan. I wonder where the rest of Americans are going to hide. Maybe your basement if you own a home or a nice ditch out back should do the trick. And food and water I am sure will be provided by all those helpful countries like China. I mean the Middle East and countries like Venezuela and Cuba will rush to our aid right. Yeah no worries here for we are in good hands. Sorry Allstate no pun was intended. Is anyone worried that Bin Laden has said recently that he will destroy a large city with a nuclear device? Or that Bin Laden has the means and the will to purchase said bomb and deliver it across our unguarded borders? Bin Laden is not making idle threats he will carry out his promise to kill on a massive scale. Lets hope you and I are not living near Bin La den's target city. For those of you not familiar with the power of a nuclear bomb let me enlighten you. The poor souls at ground zero will be vaporized by the blast. Nothing but a shadow image of your body on the ground will remain. The range for this is about 100 miles. Now those 200 miles out will have their skin burned of your body and those 300 miles out will die from the high radiation poisoning. But it gets worse for you see not calculated is the enormous ensuing blasts caused by anything combustible. You know like oil refineries chemical plants nuclear power plants and so on. This takes the level of destruction out to about 500 miles. So for those of you living near New York City or Washington D.C. I would think about moving some place much safer like oh Iowa maybe.

Haiti Rescue Efforts

I have been reluctant to mention the earthquake disaster in Haiti for I felt it would be in poor taste While these people are struggling to survive. But when I saw two parents on TV pleading for someone to go to the motel where their children were staying to rescue them it broke my heart. I too have a child and there is nothing I would not do to save her. What I am trying to understand is why the rescue efforts are moving so slow. The visions I am seeing on TV are of many people just wandering around in a confused state. Now I understand the scope of the tragedy and I sympathise with the Haiti people. But if I saw people trapped under a pile of rubble I think I would do everything I could to save them. I would not wait days for a rescue team to arrive. In times like these people need to band together and roll up their sleeves and get the job done. The first priority should have been saving those people trapped under the rubble. When Mexico City had that terrible quake years back the Mexican people did not wait for someone to rescue them. The Mexicans pulled together like a community should in such cases and they went about saving themselves. Now we should do everything we can to help but I feel the people of Haiti need to start relying on themselves to get through this crisis. Leaving people to die under a pile of rubble and babies and small children going unattended in my mind is just unacceptable behavior. I will continue to pray for the Haiti people in their hour of need but in my prayers I will include a prayer that the Haiti people find the strength and courage to help each other and pull together like the Mexican people did when faced with a similar situation.

Massachusetts Miracle

Well I lived long enough to witness a true miracle in my life time. A hard left liberal losing an election in a traditional blue state. Could it be America that you are waking from your slumber? Has the once mighty giant of the free world awakened to claim it's rightful place as the beacon of freedom the champion of the common man and woman? I surely hope so. For the future of our great nation for the future of our children we most not stop here. It is time Washington learns the real power of America is you! In a special election for vacated senate seat once held by Ted Kennedy the people spoke loud and clear. We want our country back along with our freedom to choose our own destiny. Scott Brown defeated liberal challenger Martha Coakley 52 percent to 47 percent in a fight for the U S Senate seat. Scott brown with a promise to do the will of the people pulled off an amazing upset. Browns appeal to the voters was simple he reminded the voters that they hold the power and if elected he would answer to them and only to them. With a promise to stop the health care bill and to support lower taxes and a strong military Brown struck a cord with the voters. With Brown's help and others to follow America can get back to building a strong economy and put Americans back to work. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi will turn up the heat in Congress to pass their agenda before Brown is seated. America do not let the liberals and the White House off the hook. It is time we held their feet to the fire by reminding them that they work for us not the other way around.

Women In Politics

Time I believe to take a lighter side to politics in the sense that I found a unique trend. I have been following the news both on tv and in print and I have come to the conclusion that conservative women tend to be much more attractive than liberal women. Now I will admit that there are a few exceptions to the rule but for the most part conservative women are hot while liberal women need cosmetic surgery. Yes that is a insensitive remark but true none the less. I will list the conservative women I find attractive followed by the liberals I wish I never saw in the first place. Now for you conservative women who do not show up on my list keep in mind this is my short list and not the only beautiful conservative women that get me hot. Also the women are not being placed in any order for I love them all equally.
